German Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head lettuce
    1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisp
    1 pkg. frozen peas (don't cook)
    1 small onion, chopped fine
    sliced celery (optional)
    1 1/2 pt. or a little less Miracle Whip salad dressing
    Parmesan cheese (in can)
Preparation
    Break lettuce into bite size pieces in a long Pyrex dish. Layer onion, peas and crumbled bacon.
    Spread salad dressing over the top (do not toss).
    Sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese.
