Apple Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium tart apples
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    dash of cinnamon
    juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
    1 1/4 c. margarine or butter, melted
    2 c. natural mixed cereal with fruit and nuts (Heartland, Alpen, etc.)
Preparation
    Core, peel and slice apples in crock-pot.
    Add remaining ingredients; mix thoroughly.
    Cover and cook on low heat for 7 to 9 hours (or on high for 2 to 3 hours).
    Also excellent served with cream, vanilla ice cream or whipped topping for desserts.
