Layered Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. fresh spinach, washed, dried and torn
6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 head lettuce
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
2 tomatoes, chopped
2 cucumbers or green pepper, chopped
1 large red onion or purple onion, chopped (more if needed)
3/4 c. mayonnaise (more or less as needed)
1 c. grated Swiss cheese
paprika
Preparation

Layer all ingredients in a glass bowl; sprinkle with seasonings (salt, basil, oregano and garlic powder) between each layer.
Seal the salad with mayonnaise, cover with Swiss cheese and sprinkle top with paprika.
Chill overnight.
Serve by scooping down through, not tossing.
