Refrigerator Crock Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    4 carrots
    2 red peppers
    2 green peppers
    2 large onions
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 c. white vinegar
    2 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Grind, chop or shred vegetables.
    Add celery seed and soak in salt water for 2 hours.
    Drain well.
    Mix sugar and vinegar; pour over vegetables.
    Put in crock or covered container and let stand in refrigerator.
