Noel Cake (Good Yellow Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk

Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder, salt; cream shortening and sugar until light.
Add eggs, one at a time, beat well.
Add flavoring. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk and blend well. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes in a greased loaf pan.
Cool.
