Pasties - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 level c. lard or other shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 c. very cold water
Preparation
-
Sift flour and salt together.
Cut in quickly the lard until pieces of the mixture are very fine.
Add water a little at a time until mixture sticks together.
Do not add too much water. Handle mixture as little as possible.
Cut dough int five portions.
