Barbecued Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. spareribs, cut into serving-size pieces
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 medium onions, sliced
    3/4 c. ketchup
    3/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. ground red pepper
Preparation
    Sprinkle ribs on both sides with salt and pepper; place in a shallow roasting pan.
    Lay onion slices over ribs.
    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour; baste occasionally, turning ribs twice.
    Remove cover and bake 15 minutes longer.
