Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. beans
    2 Tbsp. onion, chopped fine
    2 Tbsp. bacon, finely chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    1 tsp. thyme
    3 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Soak beans in water overnight.
    Drain and put into saucepan with 6 cups boiling water and boil slowly for 2 hours or until soft.
    Add onion and bacon which have been fried light brown.
    Boil 5 minutes.
