Pasta Fagiole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic (optional)
1 potato
1 can cannellini beans (white kidney beans)
2 Tbsp. catsup
1 c. elbow macaroni
2 cans water
Preparation

Place olive oil in a saucepan.
Brown the chopped onion in the oil.
Cut the potato into small pieces.
Brown the potato.
Add the beans, water and catsup.
Let the mixture simmer until the potato is tender.
Add the macaroni; cook until tender, 7 to 8 minutes.
