Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. hamburger
1 medium onion, diced
salt and pepper to taste
chili powder to taste
2 cans kidney beans (light or dark)
1 can tomato juice
Preparation

Brown the hamburger in a 2-quart or bigger cooking pot. Halfway through the browning process, add the diced onion, salt and pepper to taste and 1 to 2 tablespoons of chili powder.
Drain if needed.
Add the cans of kidney beans, juice and all.
Add tomato juice.
Cook on medium heat until it starts to boil.
Stir often.
Turn down to low heat and simmer for at least 1 hour.
You can add more chili powder if you like it hotter.
This is always better the next day.
