Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
pinch of salt
1/4 stick butter or oleo
2 c. milk
3 eggs, separated
1 small can coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream softened butter
or
oleo
and
sugar; add flour, salt and vanilla Stir in egg yolks and gradually stir in milk. Cook on medium heat
until\tthick
and then add coconut.
Pour into baked 9-inch
pie shell.\tWhile preparing meringue, place pie in 325\u00b0 oven.
(This
will\tprevent moisture from forming between filling and meringue when pie is finished.)
