Roasted Potatoes With Caramelized Garlic - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 red potatoes, cut into 1-inch chunks
    4 Tbsp. olive oil or other cooking oil
    16 to 18 cloves garlic, peeled and sliced
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. balsamic vinegar
    2 Tbsp. white wine
    1/3 c. chopped, fresh basil
    freshly ground pepper
    1 Tbsp. fresh, chopped parsley
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Put 2 tablespoons oil in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish and heat in oven for 5 minutes.
    Add potatoes, tossing to coat them.
    Roast, turning occasionally, 30 to 35 minutes, or until tender.
