Han'S Red Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head red cabbage
    2 red, tart, cooking apples
    2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar (or less to taste)
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. cold water
Preparation
    Step 1:
    Remove outer leaves and cut cabbage into quarters; discard core.
    Shred.
    Should measure 10 cups.
