Taffy Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. syrup
1 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. butter

Preparation

Boil first 3 ingredients to hard crack stage.
Add vanilla and butter. Pour into buttered platter until cool enough to handle. Pull until light.
Cut into pieces with kitchen shears.
Dip each piece in powdered sugar.
