Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    buttermilk or plain yogurt or sour cream
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients and add enough buttermilk or sour cream or plain yogurt to make a soft dough.
    Pat out on floured board to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut into wedges and brown on a flour griddle over medium heat.
    Turn to brown other side.
