Mom Tyers 1-2-3-4 Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. margarine or 1/2 c. margarine and 1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs, separated
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add beaten egg yolks. Sift flour and baking powder and salt together.
Add flour alternately with milk.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold into batter.
Fold in vanilla.
Bake in 3 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans.
Frost with your favorite frosting.
