Salami Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. thinly sliced carrots
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    1/4 lb. Genoa salami, cut into small pieces
    1/2 head (medium) cabbage, sliced
    1 large can (49 1/2 oz.) chicken broth
Preparation
    Saute onion, celery and carrots in butter for about 5 to 7 minutes.
    Add salami and continue to saute for another 5 minutes. Add cabbage to mixture and saute 5 minutes more.
    Add chicken broth to pot and simmer for 1 hour.
