Snickerdoodle Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening (part butter or margarine)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and 1 1/2 cups of sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Sift flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Mix and shape into 1-inch balls.
    Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
