Canned Green Beans - cooking recipe

green beans
plain salt
Preparation

Snap green beans small in size.
Wash green beans thoroughly. Wash jars in hot, soapy water, rinsing very well.
Fill jars with green beans, packing tightly.
Add 1 teaspoon plain salt.
Cover with hot water.
Use a rubber spatula to get out air bubbles. Place flats and lids on jars but don't screw on too tightly. Place jars in canner and process for 15 minutes on 15 pounds.
