Homemade Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 stick butter
    1 c. hot water
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. lukewarm (not hot) water
    1 egg
    4 1/4 c. plain flour
    melted butter
Preparation
    In small bowl mix sugar, salt, 1/3 stick butter and water. Stir to dissolve sugar.
    In large bowl sprinkle yeast in lukewarm water; stir to dissolve.
    Add to this egg and 1 cup of flour. Beat on medium speed until smooth.
    Add remaining flour slowly to make a soft dough. Cover and let stand 1 hour.
    Roll out the rolls, put in pan and pour melted butter over.
    Let rise for 2 hours.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 8 to 12 minutes.
