Chewy Brownie Cookie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. Crisco shortening
1 1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
1 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. unsweetened baking cocoa
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Beat on medium the Crisco, brown sugar, water and vanilla.
Beat in eggs.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
Mix into creamed mixture on low speed until just blended.
Stir in chips.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2-inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake one sheet at a time
at 375\u00b0 for 7 to 9 minutes.
Cookies will appear soft and moist.
Do not overbake.
Cool on baking sheet 2 minutes. Remove cookies to foil to cool completely.
Makes 3 dozen cookies.
