Cajun Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, cut up and boiled in plenty of water
    1/2 tsp. rubbed sage
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. ground thyme
    1/2 tsp. rosemary
    1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
    1 medium onion, cut up
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 bay leaf (remove after 10 minutes)
Preparation
    Debone chicken after cooking and put back in broth.
    Add other ingredients.
    Make flour gravy brown, almost burned, and put into gumbo.
    Cook until desired thickness.
    Serve over rice.
