Betty Robbins' Lemon Butter - cooking recipe

6 eggs, well beaten
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. butter
Preparation

Cook over hot water until thick.
Can be used as a filling for tarts or cakes, or as spread for toast or biscuits.
Delicious served over a spoonful of cottage cheese.
