Cabbage Plate - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. cabbage, coarsely chopped
2 c. carrots, sliced
1 c. celery, chopped
1 c. onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. salad oil
1/2 c. hot water
Preparation

Combine vegetables.
Add sugar, salt and oil; mix.
Add water. Cook until just tender, 10 to 15 minutes.
Makes a pretty dish, also very tasty.
Serves 8.
