Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed or prepare your own
    1/2 c. onion, diced
    1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
    1/2 c. margarine or butter, melted
    8 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Mix ingredients in large bowl.
    Season with salt and pepper. Pour in 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
    Top with crushed potato chips (last 10 minutes).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done. (Another topping:
    2 cups crushed cornflakes mixed with 1/4 cup melted margarine.)
    Serves 8 to 10.
