Whole Wheat Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
    3/4 c. bran (oat bran)
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt (scant)
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. applesauce
    1/2 c. vegetable oil (canola)
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix together the first 7 ingredients in a large bowl.
    Beat the eggs and add the applesauce, vegetable oil and vanilla. Add to the dry ingredients.
    Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes, then turn to 350\u00b0 and bake for 5 more minutes.
