Poppy Seed-Swiss Cheese Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/3 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    1 Tbsp. poppy seed
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 tsp. prepared mustard
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl.
    Cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Stir in cheese and poppy seed.
    Make a well in center of mixture. Combine eggs, milk and mustard.
    Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
    Spoon batter into a greased and floured loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, tenting with aluminum foil after 50 minutes, if necessary.
    Cool in pan 10 minutes.
    Remove from pan.
    Yield: 1 loaf.
