Yellow Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, separated
    1/2 cup cold water
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    1 1/2 cups flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon colored. Add water, beat 4 minutes. Add sugar and beat another minute. Sift together, flour, baking powder and salt, add to egg mixture. Add vanilla. Beat egg whites until stiff, add cream of tartar and fold in to cake mixture. Pour into ungreased angel food cake pan and bake for 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
