Caramel Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    28 caramels
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. margarine
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Unwrap caramels and place in pot with water and margarine on low heat.
    Stir occasionally until melted and smooth.
    In a separate bowl, combine sugar, salt, vanilla and beaten eggs.
    Gradually add caramel mixture, mixing well.
    Stir in pecans.
    Pour into pie shell and bake for 30 minutes.
    Makes 8 servings.
