Hot Mulled Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 qt. apple cider
    3 (1-inch) sticks cinnamon
    dash of nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    1 tsp. whole allspice
Preparation
    Tie spices in a bag.
    Place ingredients in large saucepan. Slowly bring to a boil.
    Simmer for 20 minutes.
    Garnish with orange slices.
    Serve from a crock mixing bowl.
