Strawberry Nut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small pkg. strawberry gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    10 oz. frozen strawberries
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; fold in thawed strawberries and juice.
    Add pineapple with juice along with nuts.
    Pour half of mixture into 12 x 8 x 2-inch glass dish; chill until firm. Spread top with sour cream.
    Gently spoon remaining half of gelatin mixture on top of sour cream.
    Chill until firm.
