Stewed Beef With Gravy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. lean beef, cubed
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. flour
4 c. water
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Heat oil in large skillet.
Mix flour, salt and pepper together; roll beef in flour mixture.
Drop in hot oil and brown. Add water slowly to prevent lumping.
Simmer on low heat for approximately 30 minutes.
May be served over rice, noodles or as a meat course with mashed potatoes.
