Stuffed Cabbage Leaves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    2 c. minced onion
    vegetable oil
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 tsp. paprika
    1 Tbsp. catsup or tomato paste
    pinch of oregano
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    1 clove garlic
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. consomme
    2 c. tomato juice
Preparation
    Cut core from cabbage.
    Cook leaves in salted water for about 8 minutes to soften and for better handling.
    Cool and separate leaves.
