Caramel Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. milk
    2 c. sifted powdered sugar
Preparation
    Combine butter and brown sugar in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil and cook 2 minutes.
    Add milk, return to boil, then remove from heat.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Add powdered sugar and beat until smooth.
    Makes enough for a two layer cake.
    Good on white or spice cake.
