Quick Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 pkg. yeast
    3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients. Cut in shortening until crumbly. Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Add yeast mixture and buttermilk to dry ingredients.
    Mix and knead on a floured surface. Roll out to 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut in 2-inch circles. Dip in melted butter. Fold in half and place on a greased cookie sheet.
    Let rise 1 hour.
    Place in a 425\u00b0 oven for 12 minutes.
