Karo Fat-Free Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. plain flour
    1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    4 egg whites
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Spray a 9-inch square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
    In a large bowl, whisk egg whites, water and corn syrup.
    Stir into dry ingredients until smooth.
    Pour into pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until cake springs back when lightly touched.
    Cool on wire rack about 10 minutes.
