Kongo Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter, melted
    1 3/4 c. light brown sugar
    3 eggs, lightly beaten
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/2 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Set oven to 350\u00b0 and grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Combine melted butter and brown sugar and beat them until they are thoroughly mixed.
    Add the eggs (a little at a time).
    Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add them to the batter, mixing until the dry ingredients are blended thoroughly.
    Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
    Spread batter in greased pan.
    Bake 20 minutes for moist bars, 25 minutes for drier version.
    Cool, cut and serve.
