Sweet And Sour Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    vegetable oil
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 chicken flavor bouillon cube
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks (reserve syrup)
    1 c. thinly sliced carrots
    green pepper rings
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large skillet, brown chops in oil. Remove chops from skillet; pour off fat.
    In skillet, combine lemon juice and cornstarch; mix well.
    Add sugar, onion, soy sauce, bouillon and reserved syrup; cook and stir until thickened and bouillon is dissolved.
    Add pork chops and carrots; cover and bake for 1 hour, or until tender.
    Add pineapple and bake 10 minutes longer.
    Garnish with green pepper.
    Serve with rice, if desired.
