Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 baked pie crust
1 qt. strawberries
1 c. water
1/4 c. maple syrup or other sweetener
5 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 pt. heavy cream
Preparation

Place strawberries, sweetener and water in 3 quart pan.
Heat the mixture and add some of the liquid to the cornstarch.
Add cornstarch back to the strawberry mixture.
Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thickened.
Pour into pie shell and chill thoroughly.
Prior to serving whip the cream and place on top of pie.
Serve and enjoy!
