Ukrainian Nut Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 large cake yeast
    1/2 stick margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    5 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Soften yeast in lukewarm water.
    Scald milk; add margarine, sugar and salt.
    When lukewarm, add enough flour to make a thick batter.
    Add to yeast and eggs.
    Beat well.
    Add enough flour to make a soft dough.
    Turn out on floured board and knead until satiny.
    Place in greased bowl and let rise until doubled.
