Bayou Belle Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 medium green pepper, finely chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. canned tomatoes
    1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
    2 doz. cooked, shelled shrimp
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Saute onion, pepper and garlic in butter.
    Stir in tomatoes, mushrooms, shrimp, salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil.
    Serve over cooked rice.
