Mushroom Barley Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10 c. beef or chicken broth
1 c. barley
1 c. carrots, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
2 c. onions, chopped and separated
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 (10 oz.) box fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
Preparation

In a large pot, add the stock and barley and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Add to the stock the carrots, celery and onions.
Mix together and let this simmer for another 1/2 hour.
