Ice Cream Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/3 c. shortening or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook milk and cornstarch until thickened.
    Cool and set aside. Whip shortening and gradually add sugar a little at a time until all sugar is added.
    Add milk and cornstarch; mix, add vanilla and keep whipping until sugar is dissolved.
