Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. plain flour
1 1/3 c. sugar
5/8 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
5/8 c. oil (may substitute same amount applesauce)
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. fresh apples, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix sugar and oil together.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to first mixture.
Mix well and add apples and nuts.
Bake at 275\u00b0 for approximately 1 1/2 hours in a waxed paper-lined tube pan.
