Zucchini Rice Tomato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed tomatoes
    2 c. cooked rice
    3 medium zucchini
    2 cloves garlic
    1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/4 c. Romano cheese, grated
    1 tsp. oil
    Italian sausage (optional)
    hamburger (optional)
Preparation
    Saute garlic in oil on low heat; add tomatoes and simmer with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper for 1 hour.
    Add rice and water if needed.
    Wash and slice zucchini.
    Add to rest of ingredients. Simmer until well done.
    Add cheese when serving.
    Great with Italian bread; makes a meal in itself.
