Cinnamon Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. melted shortening
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Add enough flour to make a nice smooth dough.
Turn out on floured board and knead until smooth.
Roll out 9 x 22-inch. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle over top with the 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.
Cut into 6 equal strips; pile.
Press to make firm.
Cut into 12 pieces and place cut side up into greased muffin tins.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until done. Frost with thin icing while still warm.
Makes 1 dozen.
