Pork Chops With Applesauce And Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 9 pork chops (3/4-inch)
    1/4 c. margarine
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 onions, sliced thin
    1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (15 oz.) jar applesauce
    1 c. coarse bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. horseradish
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Brown chops in 2 tablespoons margarine.
    Season with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
    Set aside.
    Saute onions in remaining margarine in saucepan.
    Add sauerkraut, tomatoes, applesauce, bread crumbs, horseradish, sugar and remaining salt and pepper.
    Mix thoroughly; turn into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Press chops into mixture; bake, covered with foil, at 350\u00b0 for 2 hours. Serve with rice, noodles or boiled potatoes.
