Five Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can kidney beans
    1 (No. 2) can green beans
    1 (No. 2) can wax beans
    1 (No. 2) can pinto beans
    1 (No. 2) can black beans
    1 small onion, peeled and sliced in rings
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. red bell pepper strips
    1/2 c. green bell pepper strips
    1/2 c. miniature carrots cut in strips
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    3/4-1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Wash red and green bell peppers and carrots, cut into strips and set aside.
    Wash onions and celery.
    Set aside.
    Remove strings from celery, chop and set a side.
    Drain beans and rinse. Combine vinegar, 1/2 c. salad oil, and 3/4 cup sugar.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
