Peanut Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
48 Hershey's Kisses

Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except the Kisses.
Mix thoroughly. Shape into balls (small), then roll in a bowl of sugar.
Place on cookie sheet and bake until cracked at 350\u00b0, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove and place Hershey's Kiss on cookie while hot; press in firmly.
