Tex-Mex Dip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 medium size ripe avocados
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans plain or jalapeno flavored bean dip
1 large bunch sliced green onions
3 medium tomatoes, remove seeds and coarsely chop
1 (8 oz.) pkg. sharp Cheddar cheese
2 (3 1/2 oz. each) cans pitted ripe olives, drained and sliced
large round tortilla chips
Preparation

Peel, pit and mash avocados in medium bowl with lemon juice, salt and pepper.
In separate bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise and taco seasoning.
To assemble, spread bean dip on a large shallow serving platter.
(I layer mine about a 10-inch diameter circle.)
Top with seasoned avocado mixture; sprinkle with onions, tomatoes and olives.
Cover with shredded cheese.
Serve chilled with round tortilla chips.
